How do you evaluate the Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood”?
We congratulate, first of all, the resistant Palestinian people and Al-Mujahideen of the heroic Palestinian factions, especially the dear brothers in the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, for the heroic, large-scale operation against the enemy’s army positions and settlements in the Gaza Strip. This operation was culminated in victory, divine support, and the promise of final and comprehensive victory. Al-Mujahideen in Palestine proved in this attack that they are capable of achieving complete liberation. In this operation, the Zionist entity suffered an irreparable defeat. The enemy entity will not return to what it was before it after this operation.
The victorious “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation is a decisive and natural response to the continuing crimes of the occupation and the continuing violation of sanctuaries, honor and dignity. The practices of the Zionists brought this disaster to their heads. When injustice and crime exceed the limits and brutality reaches its peak, we must wait for the flood.
This operation has reaffirmed that the will of the Palestinian people and the armed resistance is the only option in the face of aggression and occupation. And it is also a message to the Arab and Islamic world and the entire international community, especially those seeking normalization with the enemy.
Hezbollah carried out a military action just after Al-Aqsa Flood. What was the meaning of that?
The morning after the Blessed “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, the Islamic Resistance sent a message of greeting, thanks and appreciation in the manner of resistance fighters: with fire of the “Groups of the Martyr Commander Hajj Imad Mughniyeh”. The resistance targeted three Zionist occupation sites in the occupied Shebaa Farms area in southern Lebanon with large numbers of artillery shells and guided missiles that directly hit the sites. The next evening, Al-Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance once again targeted an Israeli military armored vehicle “Zelda” model at the Al-Sadah site in the Avivim colony in northern Palestine with two guided missiles, and it was hit and completely destroyed. On the morning of Wednesday 10/11/2023, resistance groups targeted the Zionist site of Al-Jardah, opposite the Lebanese town of Al-Dhahira, with guided missiles, which led to many confirmed casualties among the ranks of the occupation forces, including dead and wounded.
These operations of the Islamic Resistance is a confirmation that they will be decisive in its response to the Zionist attacks targeting our country and the security of our people. The resistance also says that we have the right to target the enemy that still occupies our land, and this is a message that the Zionist enemy must carefully consider.
These military operations of the resistance on the Lebanese-Palestinian border carried a message to the Americans and the Israelis that what happened in Gaza has a bottom line, and that your persistent foolishness and cynicism have led to the Al-Aqsa flood, and if you go too far, you will witness the nation’s flood that will drown your entire entity.
How do you see the situation in the Gaza Strip? What is Hezbollah’s position regarding Gaza?
The Zionist occupation entity took the crushing defeat inflicted on it by Al-Mujahideen as an excuse to continue its injustice against our people in the Gaza Strip. The enemy declared war and attacked the Strip with full support of the Great Satan America, and imposed a blockade that prevented water, medicine, fuel, and electricity from reaching Gaza Strip. Every day, it commits massacres and mass murder of the people of Gaza without any deterrent. Israel wants to justify these crimes by playing the role of the oppressed, but this is a miscalculation. Let the leaders of the usurping entity, its decision-makers, and their supporters know that this action will bring them greater calamity. Let them know that the reaction to this practice of injustice will be a more severe slap in their ugly faces. The resolve of the brave and self-sacrificing Palestinian youth will be strengthened by these crimes. Today, Palestinian resistance fighters and youth are vigilant and working with complete skill. They are ready to inflict greater losses on this enemy.
The leadership of Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon closely keeps pace with important developments in the Palestinian area and follows the field situation with great interest. It is in direct contact with the leadership of the Palestinian Resistance at home and abroad, and conducts a continuous evaluation of events and the progress of operations with it.
In this battle, we are not neutral. Our position is known to both enemy and friend. We stand beside our brothers in the Palestinian resistance.
How do you evaluate the US’s position?
We were not at all surprised by the political positions and measures of the American administration. This is the true essence of the entire American policy in its continuous support for aggression and terrorism since the establishment of this usurping, occupying entity. Sending aircraft carriers to the region with the aim of raising the morale of the enemy and its frustrated soldiers reveals the weakness of the Zionist military machine, despite the crimes and massacres it commits. Therefore, we affirm that this step will not frighten the peoples of our nation nor the resistance factions that are ready for confrontation until final victory and complete liberation.
We hold the United States of America fully responsible for the killing, criminality, siege, destruction of homes, also for horrific massacres against defenseless civilians, including children, women, and the elderly. Biden is the real criminal behind these actions.
What do you expect from the countries in the region? Of its youth and its people?
We call on the peoples and youth of our Arab and Islamic nation and the free people of the world to declare support for the Palestinian people and the resistance movements. This battle is the battle of all the oppressed in this world.
Bhis battle is not just the battle of the people of Gaza and the West Bank. So the responsibility of all honorable and free people not to remain neutral. They must expose the actions of the US and ISrael at all political, popular, media and legal levels and in various regional and international forums and gatherings.
Do you have any appeal to the youth of Türkiye?
Our call to the honorable youth of Türkiye, who know the reality of the conflict between right and wrong in this world, is to support the oppressed over the oppressor, and to support Palestine and its people, and to stand beside them in all possible ways in the face of the continuing criminal Zionist aggression. We should stand shoulder to shoulder in the face of the Zionist-American project in West Asia.
