The decline of American hegemony, which has spread blood and death across the globe for decades, is now gasping for breath, especially with the terror state it created in West Asia–Israel. The inhumane war that Israel, the satellite of American imperialism, is waging in Palestine, alongside its increasing acts of terrorism against Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrallah, all point not to the imminent victory of American hegemony and Israel, but to their defeat.
The terror DNA of the American State
Since the third quarter of the 18th century, when the United States gained independence, it has adopted the concept of expansion (Manifest Destiny) as its mission, mostly driven by power politics both domestically and abroad. In this context, it has massacred Native Americans, invaded Canada, waged war against Mexico, provoked war with Spain, and annexed Hawaii. In more recent history, wars started by American imperialism in Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya, along with the disintegration of Yugoslavia and imperialist intervention in Syria, have resulted in some of the greatest massacres in human history. In the 23 years following 9/11 alone, under the guise of the so-called war on terror, American soldiers have raped hundreds of thousands of women and killed more than 4.5 million people worldwide.
The turning point marked by exploding pagers
Israel is the US’s largest outpost in West Asia. Last October, the Palestinian resistance shattered the so-called “invincible” image of the US-Israeli alliance, creating a significant crack in US hegemony. A few weeks ago, Israel carried out an attack on Hezbollah using pagers, which fits the most accurate definition of international terrorism. This is the clearest reflection of the so-called “rules-based international order” centered on the US!
Israel’s action of bombing using pagers vividly exposes the potential to suddenly escalate global chaos and marks the era of instability. These pagers were manufactured by a company in Taiwan, while the radios used were produced by a Japanese company. The separatist government that rules Taiwan declared its support for Israel last October. In Japan, after the assassination of Shinzo Abe, dissenting voices were silenced, and with its more right-wing government, Japan has once again pledged allegiance to the US.
The only option against the terrorist states
Today, no country dependent on the US and Western-centric system, from its technology to its art, its education to its economy, is truly “fully independent.” It is imperative that nations and states standing against American imperialism come together to create an alternative world in all areas, for diplomacy for the US and its satellite state Israel is conducted within the framework of state terrorism. The “values” the US promotes globally are indifferent to the distinction between diplomacy and war, and it is with this understanding that it must be confronted.
How secure is humanity today, relying on computers, phones, cars, etc., produced in the US or its allied countries? States resisting imperialism and seeking to overthrow it must realize that they have entered a terrifying era in which technological tools produced by transnational imperialist corporations are being used as terrorist attacks against their peoples and sovereignties. In this situation, the question arises: “How reliable is the global supply chain dominated by the US?” Naturally, a period of detoxification from American- and Western-made technological equipment must begin, as the axis of struggle is not only against the military tragedies of the US war machine.
Humanity’s common destiny against US-backed separatism
If Taiwan were governed by those supporting unification with China, would a Taiwanese company provide these devices to Israel? This question applies not only to Taiwan, but to all regions where the US supports proxy wars and separatism.
In conclusion, Russia’s war against NATO’s eastward expansion, serve as major pillars of confidence in the process of building a new international order. BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) must become more active in the coming period and strengthen their struggle to create a new international order with all its alternatives. The barefooted resistance of the Afghan people, which succeeded in the past, is today continued by Hamas in its struggle for the freedom of Palestine. This resistance is the front line of all oppressed peoples, aiming to build humanity’s common destiny. Hassan Nasrallah is a martyr of this shared cause.
