On May 22nd, the 13th session of World Urban Forum 13 in Baku officially came to an end.

An “Urban Expo” space was organized during the forum. More than 260 exhibitors, innovators, and solution partners took part.

This year’s forum also set a record in terms of the number of guests and participants.

The discussions in Baku once again proved one important reality: the housing issue is a global challenge, but it requires local action. Housing must be approached with dignity and with a human-centered vision.

This approach strengthens sustainability and helps restore vibrant cultural, social, and economic life in cities. It puts people at the center of the future.

WUF13 also showed that modern cities are measured not only by infrastructure, but by human well-being. When cities are safe, inclusive, and accessible, societies become stronger.

Through this forum, Baku once again became an important platform for international dialogue. The ideas shared and partnerships created here can help shape the cities of the future.
